Cross Roads Black
The iconic image of the crossroads found in traditional blues is a very powerful one. The deity who is the guardian of this domain can be traced to Africa and later to Haiti and Brazil. His name is Legba. During ceremonies his presence is invoked by the creation of diagrams drawn on the ground using powdered chalk or flour, represented in the designs seen in this piece. His colors are traditionally red and black with a touch of white. The crossroads motif can easily be seen in each figure.
Fabric Content: 100% 16mm Habotai silk has a very smooth, slightly crisp texture with a fairly substantial weight
Care Instructions: Dry clean or machine wash, turn inside-out first, gentle cycle, mild detergent, tumble dry, low setting
Sizing: Shirt is cut loose, meant to be worn untucked. Small, medium, large, XL. Custom sizing/fitting available for an additional 18% of regular garment cost
